Local value dossier: how Chinese companies can prove they belong
Local value is credible only when jobs, suppliers, tax, training and community impact can be verified.
Chinese companies often talk about win-win cooperation, but foreign audiences increasingly ask for proof that is local, dated and third-party verifiable.
A local value dossier should include jobs created, training hours, local suppliers, tax payments, safety investment, service footprint, local management authority, customer satisfaction, community programs and independent certifications.
The dossier is not only a public-relations asset. It helps procurement teams defend selection, helps regulators understand contribution, helps employees trust the employer and helps investors see that expansion is durable.
The strongest version avoids vague claims. Each claim should name a project, date, owner, metric and document location, with a note on whether the evidence is public, confidential or still being built.
